Born in the war-torn landscapes of Darfur, I draw inspiration from the poignant narratives of oppression and struggle that have shaped my vision. From the ubiquitous presence of iron in destruction, I have forged a unique artistic expression, transforming scrap metal into poetic embodiments of societal turmoil and human resilience. My sculptures, born from the raw material of hardship, serve as vessels for the untold stories of those affected by conflict. With each piece, I seek to shed light on the harsh realities faced by communities torn apart by war, migration, and oppression. At the core of my work lies a profound connection to the human form, a sculptural canvas through which I articulate the contemporary struggles of our time. The loss of loved ones and the relentless pursuit of freedom propel my artistic journey, instilling in me a sense of duty to amplify the voices of the marginalized and oppressed. Through my art, I confront the harsh truths of our world while harboring a steadfast belief in hope and resilience.
